What our launch periods have taught me

Having now worked through five launch periods for the Golden Brands membership, I want to share with you today some of the key lessons I've learned.

As many of you know, I’m a big believer in transparency in business and have openly shared my journey across our emails and socials. From budgets to marketing plans and what I’m investing in to grow GB in 2023. 

Having now worked through five launch periods for the Golden Brands membership, I want to share with you today some of the key lessons I’ve learned.

Firstly I wanted to address that while it can be incredibly disheartening not to reach our goals, it’s essential to recognise the wins we do experience (I know I harp on about this all the time!). In my five launches, I haven’t achieved the goals I’ve set for myself, but I’ve come to realise the power of growing slowly during our startup phase. Small launch periods have allowed me to refine our sign-up process, email sequences, and offer additional support to our new members. Each launch has also highlighted small tech issues that needed to be addressed before scaling up.

The reality is that if we had 1000 new members join in a week, our processes would have collapsed! Starting small has its benefits!

Launch periods are a universal experience in the entrepreneurial journey. Whether you’re introducing a new product, service, or relaunching your entire business, these moments hold tremendous potential for growth and transformation. They represent all our countless hours of hard work and strategic planning.

Here are a few key lessons I’ve learned from our launch periods:
