So, I’ve got a bit of news – I’m joining Toastmasters! Let’s try not to laugh…
This is about me stepping out of my comfort zone, and I’m all in for growth this year – both personally and for Golden Brands.
My guiding word for 2024 is GROWTH. This year is all about tackling the things that scare me. Like, I’ve actually said yes recently to speaking gigs from a couple of local business groups. Usually, I’d shy away for anything to do with speaking publicly, but not this time. I know these opportunities are the perfect way for me to not only share my experiences and knowledge to help other business owners but to also improve my speaking skills and confidence.
I’m committing to doing the things that feel uncomfortable to smash my goals for this year.
I’m going to say yes to all the speaking opportunities that come up in 2024.
I’m going to start cold emailing for partnerships for Golden Brands. It’s time to branch out and connect with awesome businesses that resonate with our mission.
I’m going to increase our prices. Anything to do with pricing has always made me feel uncomfortable! I’ve been told way too often we’re undercharging, and honestly, no one’s ever said we’re overpriced. So, it’s time to value our offerings rightly. But don’t worry, this change won’t happen until after our next sales period – too much admin for school holidays on my end!
I’m going to work on getting crystal clear on my 2024 vision following the 3 step blueprint for creating the best year yet framework (this is now inside the membership so go check it out if you’re a member). This framework is so powerful and it’s the exact process I’ve followed in past years, it goes beyond just creating a vision board and goals.
