Firstly it’s important to acknowledge that you’re certainly not alone in experiencing these feelings. We all at some stage in business wonder if we’re good enough or have as much to offer as our competitors.

What are some of the things that could make a huge difference to your business but make you feel really uncomfortable?
For me it was showing up on Reels.
I knew if I could overcome my fear of creating video content, I could really connect with my audience on a deeper level and grow my following. It certainly wasn’t easy at first but with practice I can honestly say I no longer feel uncomfortable showing up on camera.
I’d encourage you to write down a few things that make you feel uncomfortable but you know you’re more than capable of doing!
Feeling uncomfortable is your new ‘comfort zone.’
As an entrepreneur, you need to take risks. This requires thinking outside the box, putting yourself out there and the ability to keep going even if you fail at first.
Mindset is EVERYTHING in business! I can tell you this with complete certainty. If you have the right mindset, your business will see far more growth towards your goals.
To really overcome these limiting beliefs in your business you need to work on your mindset each time one pops up stamp on it quickly.
I’ve certainly experienced a number of limiting beliefs (imposter syndrome and constant doubt to name a few!).
When I started my first business at 24 with absolutely no clue what I was doing I never thought I could provide a service to the same level of my competitors. I didn’t value what I had to offer, I undersold my skills and undercharged for the work I was doing. It wasn’t until I focused on my mindset, educated myself and created a community around me that I realised the limiting beliefs I was experiencing and how to overcome them.
While the lack of confidence and doubt still pops up from time to time I’ve managed to work past most of these roadblocks in business through working on my mindset, and you absolutely can too by understanding your value!

We all start with nothing, you have the same opportunities and resources to get to and exceed others in your industry.
Believing in yourself and your capabilities is all you need. We don’t have to be the best at something to be successful. I can tell you this from experience, I have owned successful businesses in things that I was pretty average at but I believed in myself. When I fully committed to my dream and believed in what I could do then others did too. We all start from scratch. Your competitors started not having a clue what they were doing. Just get started, that’s the key. Action is the antidote.

Let me ask you this – have you ever found yourself doubting your pricing?
Maybe you’ve told yourself that no one would possibly pay a higher rate for your product or services…it’s too much! To understand your value you need to recognise the difference you can make.
If you’re a service based business you help your clients get from point A to Point B. There’s a transformation that occurs on that journey. And that transformation is what your clients pay you for.
If you undervalue yourself your clients will do the same.
It’s all about perceived value. If you have two courses with very similar content and one is priced at $69 and the other at $699 the expectation of value is going to be different for each one. For $69 I wouldn’t be expecting much ‘bang for my buck’ but for $699 I’d be all in with my commitment and expecting a great experience.
Bottom line, if you believe you are worth what you charge, your clients will too.
Remember you’re not just selling a service or product you’re giving your time, skills, and expertise.
When you start to think about what you have to offer as your opportunity to serve your clients rather than thinking you are just selling to them, you can start to see the value in what you have to offer. You are giving them a solution and you are solving a pain point they have. Your offerings are serving!
When you truly believe in and recognise the value you offer, your clients will too.

I have been where you are – experiencing imposter syndrome, constant doubt, lack of confidence, struggling through trying to juggle a family and work balance, and I felt that I had no real community or support to guide me in business & keep me accountable.
My entrepreneurial journey started in 2013 when I decided to ditch my corporate career in Human Resources to start a Wedding Planning & Styling Business, despite nearly everyone telling me it was a bad idea!
